Adobe indesign cs3 and cs4 together

Hi

i have a macbook pro 2010 Sierra with indesign cs3 installed. Now i want to install indesign cs4. Can i run both versions? i don't want to risk to loose my old projects....

correct.  don't change any hardware on that cs3 computer and don't reinstall cs3 to avoid the problem of activation.

yes, you can, BUT you can no longer activate cs2, cs3 or cs4.  ie,  you can't use any of those suites for more than the 30 day trial on any one computer without significant work.

but if cs3 is allready installed it should't be a problem then i guess?
