Adobe is not recognizing the product code on my box, what do i do?

I had adobe creative suite 5 design standard on my previous mac but it just recently died. I am trying to reinstall it on my new max but adobe won't recognize my product code on my box. As a result, I cannot obtain a serial number. Please help.

    I see that you have Acrobat 9 Pro for Macintosh registered under this Adobe ID of yours. Is that what you are looking for ? Please confirm.

    Check your account for your previously activated serial number Adobe ID

    I have my previous activated serial number! However, when I put my CD into the computer to re-download the program, nothing pops up about a serial number to plug it in. And there is also no "install" option.

    If it is an alpha numeric code, then it is the redemption code which needs to redeemed.

    It is saying I need a "24-character alphanumeric redemption code" but what I have is a 22-character alphanumeric Product Code

    I'm not sure if they updated the codes since the last time I installed this to my old computer.
