Adobe lightroom 6 DVD won't instal

Hi I want to install Lightroom 6 (from DVD) to Windows 10, the software runs but wont install to the hard drive, an error comes up.

Win 32 API error 193 (unknown error) when calling Load Library from get CFunction.

I purchased the DVD online and it is genuine, it has the Adobe barcode licence no etc.

copy the disc files to a desktop directory. install from that directory.
