Adobe photoshop Elements 10 not installing on Windows 11

I installed photoshop Elements 10 on my Windows  11 and the icon isn’t on my screen and when I tried to find it , it only showed me what was available on the internet. I’ve installed it 2 times now without any results. thanks

    AFAIK, PS Elements 10 isn’t compatible with Win11. They’re too many years apart. 

     

    PS Elements 2026 works on Win11.

    Jeff, it started working but on another computer I have photoshop C6 and it was letting me do collages and now it won’t--in the same day. Know how I can get that back. Thanks a lot!

    Photoshop Elements 10 was released many years before Windows 11, so compatibility can sometimes be a factor.

     

    Before we try anything new, could you first implement the suggestions previously offered and let us know the results? Since they have not yet been completed, adding or expanding the troubleshooting may make it harder to identify the root cause.

     

    Once you've tried those steps, please post back with the results, and we can continue troubleshooting if needed.

    I reviewed the registration details and can confirm that you have a registered copy of Photoshop Elements 10 with one activation remaining.


    Photoshop Elements 10 is a much older version and was not designed or tested for Windows 11. As a result, installation issues can occur even when the serial number and activation status are valid.


    As a first step, please try running the installer as an administrator and, if available, using Windows Compatibility Mode for an older version of Windows.

    If you receive a specific error message during installation, please share a screenshot or the exact wording of the error. That will help us better understand where the installation is failing.
