Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 12: Uninstall/Reinstall

I'm trying to uninstall Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 12 from my tower to install on my laptop, but I'm not able to retrieve the serial number to reinstall on my laptop. I've tried to retrieve the serial number, but it tells me another user has registered it, which I don't understand. How do I fix this? I've not been able to use the program for months now.

    If you still have it installed on the tower and it's a Windows machine then try running Belarc Advisor to get the serial number
