Adobe portfolio redirects to non www version

Hi I would like my portfollio site to use the www version but it redirects to the non www version is it something ive done wrong ?

No, you have done nothing wrong.  If your site resolved to both www and non-www, you would take a beating from Google for having duplicate site content.   Portfolio rightfully redirects all incoming traffic to the primary domain at  HTTPS : // domain . com or HTTPS : // your_name . portfolio . com.

Browsers hide “www.”  So you can’t know if it’s there.

Not true.  Browsers don't hide anything. 

Reputable websites configure their servers properly.  Sadly, not all servers are properly configured.

 

Primary domain = example . com

     subdomain = www . example . com
