Adobe processes appear as apps on my Mac

Dear community,

after a recent CC desktop app update the processes that adobe runs in the background appeared as apps on my mac (pic related). Why is this happening, and how can I delete them?

that's a relatively recent os x "feature".  google if there's a way to prevent and/or undo that.
