Adobe Production Premium

Hey everybody,

despite the release of Creative Cloud, my father got me Production Premium CS6 (apparently cause it was easier for him, but idk).

Anyways, I'm heading off to college soon hoping to major in film. I hit a roadblock however, when my laptop crashed a month ago; the problem was that it couldn't handle the data of Premiere Pro (though it was only the trial version). That said, I'm getting a new laptop but I'm not sure if it can withstand PPCS6 when my old one got destroyed trying to handle just one of its programs. And with getting a desktop out of my hands, my friend says just get a bunch of external hard drives. But is there any alternative solution? And if not, how many external hard drives do I need and what exactly am I supposed to do?

you shouldn't need any external hard drives.

as long as your new computer meets the tech specs (http://www.adobe.com/il_en/products/creativesuite/production/tech-specs.html), you should be good.
