So I updated my mac OS to Catalina and when I tried to open photoshop it didn't open and a window appear and said that it need to be updated to the current operative system. Something similar happened with my others adobe programs, Illustrator doesn't even open. So .. Are they working on the uptades? I tried downloading the trial version just in case the pay one didn't work again and it is stucked at 20%. I work with these programs just as many people do and I want a response and solution to this as quikly as possible.

This is a user-to-user forum, not technical support.   Catalina is not compatible with older Creative Suite software.  If you wish to keep using 32-bit software, you need to revert to your old operating system and stay there.

Creative Cloud 2020 is compatible with Catalina but there are a few known problems.  And it's highly recommended that you remove all 32-bit apps BEFORE you upgrade to Catalina.

I am very well aware of these things that you mentioned, my concern is that the programs are not updated to suit the new mac OS, and my question is, is the adobe team working on a solution and aware that this is not a technical problem that had happened to only me? To clarify I cannot install any of the newer 2019-2020 versions of adobe, nor the old ones obviuosly (not even the trial versions, and my computer is very much compatible). And there is no chance that I go back to the old OS, that would be a waste of time and risky and I already deleted the old programs that weren't working.

I cannot speak for Adobe.  But I'm happy to report that versions 2019 and 2020 work fine for me on Windows 10.

Maybe this has more to do with Apple's new OS than meets the eye.   At any rate, download and installation is a 3 step process.  If it hangs it would be helpful to know exactly where it's getting stuck and what is getting in the way.  The best way to assess that is to look at the log files.  See link below for details.

Hi Mariana,

What version of the Adobe programs do you have? Is it a version that is compatible with Catalina?
