Adobe Refund

I purchased a product that appears as "Acrobat" for $139. The purchase appears on my credit card statement so it went through:

I spent about four hours trying to install the product and when that didn't work, obtain a refund. It appears that Adobe's refund process requires that the product is first installed. Adobe refuses to provide any sort of telephone support and insists on chat only support. I'm wondering if someone can tell me how to get rid of this thing and get my money back. I'm so angry at Adobe that I'm going to move to another PDF vendor. Is my only option a charge back via the credit card company or an action in our local small claims court?

Thanks.
