Adobe "save as" file naming issue

This is so strange, and frustrating.

Here are my computer specs.

I am having a issue when I save and name files in all adobe programs (After effects, premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator). In photoshop for example When I highlight and delete the default file name of Untitled-2.psd to save a file photoshop will automatically add the ".psd" extention after I tryp my first character. If I type several more letters then backspace It will delete until the "D" in .PSD then generate another".psd" extention on the end of that. Another strange part of this is that if highlight the "Untitled-2" before the extention and delete it it will generate another ".psd"  This video will show you this issue.
