Adobe should explain me!

I am aware that Flash Player will be end of life in December 2020 and not long ago, Adobe Air was turned over to Harman.

Extension Builder (EB) 2.1 is based on ActionScript.
Starting with Extension Builder (EB) 3, it's JavaScript-based.

I'm also very aware that Adobe is not recommending EB2.1 and
only provides the 2014 version of CC of EB2.1.

And yet, there are two reasons why I've been using EB2.1 until now.
First, I've been using ActionScript language since 2008, so this technology is more comfortable for me.
Second, i thought i can rely on it as Adobe runs this EB2.1 for a fee.

Sure.
I am also aware that ExtendScript is very similar to ActionScript in EB2.1.

I am not sure how long it will take to Convert EB2.1 based on ExtendScript.

Adobe posted the notice that Flash Player will be the end of life for a few years ago
Adobe let Adove Air available by Harman.

At this point, the adobe has to explain.
Why did Adobe suddenly stop EB2.1 without any notice??

I started using EB2.1 in August 2015.
I've been developing my solutions using EB2.1 ever since.

All of a sudden, i was unable to login EB2.1 and my solutions developed since 2015 became useless.

How could Adobe suddenly prevent users to use its app that runs for a fee without any notice?
I never understand.

How will Adobe compensate for my solutions that i have developed since 2015?

How can Adobe also compensate for the time and effort to do that?

Adobe has to explain.

these are user-to-user forums so i don't think you're going to get an answer from adobe here.

i too, have made hobby/2nd career programming flash websites and then more recently animate mobile apps. i'm not happy about the off-loading of air to harman so i've moved to unity for mobile apps.

i'm hoping animate will continue to be developed for html5/canvas use but i'm not sure about that.  i plan to ask at adobe max in the next few weeks.

in any case, i don't think adobe owes us anything.  for me, it was good while it lasted and i learned alot.  some of that is wasted but most of it is not.  javascript and c# (and i suspect other languages) are very similar to as3.  i've had very little problem moving to unity and have been surprised by all of the features i've seen, so far.  and i'm sure i'll see more as i learn more.

Thank you for your kind reply.

In fact, I can develop many languages.
C#, PHP, Java, Javascript (ES6, webpack...)
I have developed with these languages for more than a year in the corporate environment.

The language that I'm using now is Javascript (ES6) using webpack.

What I want to talk about here is...
Adobe got paid, and then suddenly cut off without notice.

And if not here, where can I officially complain to Adobe?
