Hello good day,

I have a question regarding the Adobe Software, I am new to this and we have a MAC here, when we reinstall our MAC, I installed the adobe software which is adobe CS5 but when I tried to register it using the serial number attached to the installer, the serial key won't work.

May I know if the serial key is 1 time usable only? since the serial key was installed on the same MAC Computer but we just reinstall our MAC.

Can we buy an adobe software which is 1 time only not subscription of creative cloud? thank you.

Do you have your original serial number from your original purchase of CS5? You will need that to register it. if you are having trouble with that, you can locate your serial number here...

You can't purchase a copy of any of the stand-alones any more from Adobe. They are solely subscription based now. But what software are you looking to use? If its just photoshop/lightroom, you can get the subscription to the photographers package for only $10 a month. Significantly cheaper in the long run compared to purchasing the software.

You can still find copies of the software to purchase here and there, but they aren't 100% reliable or trustable since who knows who has made a real looking disc with what on it for such old software.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the serial number attached to the installer? Like Daniel said, are you using the original 24 digit serial number which came with the software? Don't post the serial number here - someone might steal it and use it with their own software.

Serial numbers can be re-used whenever you reinstall the software. There is no limit on how many times you reinstall or how many times you enter the same serial number provided you've got activations free.

The activation may fail if the software has been activated more than twice. In that case Adobe needs to take action.

The serial number is normally not "attached" to an installer but printed on a sticker on the install media box. I suppose that is what you mean.

Or delivered via email if an ESD (Electronic Software Delivery) version was purchased.

In any case, it should be 24 digits - no alphabetical letters.
