Adobe Software wont work on my Razer Blade 15'

Hi

So I'm currently having an issue with specifically Adobe software on my 2018 Razer Blade 15 4k, freezing randomly (usually on simple tasks like clicking through menus or preferences, dragging a slider etc) which eventually leads to a blue screen of death. I have tested Davinci Resolve and several games and this issue doesn't occur with these.

What could the issue be? Could it be the Nvidia driver not working well with Adobe? I can't think where to start to try and fix it, I've tried updating Nvidia driver, uninstalling and fresh installing, using the creator's ready driver but all options seem to not solve the issue so far.

Thanks

Matt

It could well be that the display drivers are not the correct ones. Before starting anything else try running the programs with the GPU use of (normally to be found in the preferences). If it works then, you have problems with your device drivers and you need to find the "correct" version, which may well be not the latest version.

Also: please do not use overclocking (at least for the tests) as overclocking adds to the stress of the components and when they are running at their limits, overclocking may well push the limits too far.

Nvidea should normally work well with Adobe, but gaming drivers are not always as stable as the more conservative professional drivers (for the expensive Quadro series...).

I believe the driver for the GPU (GeForce GTX 1070) is the correct one? I'm using the Creator Ready driver which was supposedly good for Photoshop and the like. It's odd that Resolve seems to work fine with the GPU. I believe Adobe Premiere Pro is more CPU based compared to Resolve which I've read is GPU based, so makes me believe it could be another issue?
