Adobe Spark slideshow transitions irregular

Adobe Spark slideshows have the option to choose the amount of time spent on each slide, however, it does not work. When previewing the slideshow, the transitions are erratic. Is there a way to fix this?

Example: I have each slide set to 1 second. When I preview the slideshow, some slides are 1 second or more and others are less than 1 second.

Try using a different browser. 1 second intervals would be dizzyingly fast with my Internet connection. I typically use 3-5 second intervals.

So, I want the slides to be one second long. The problem I am having is with the software making the transitions erratic. They are inconsistent. They are not 1 second long. One second shouldn't be more or less than one second regardless of the internet connection/ browser, right?
