Question

Adobe uninstall utilities don't launch

I have been using CS5 and recently became a subscriber to Creative Cloud.  I just got a new iMac (my old Mac is a Mac Pro, early 2009) and used Apple's Migration Assistant to move all my apps to the new iMac, including CS5.  But now the CS5 apps are acting up on the iMac (launching slowly, crashing, lots of spinning beach balls, etc).  I have the CS5 installation DVD and my CS5 serial numbers, so I thought I would uninstall CS5 and do a clean install.  I found the CS5 uninstall utility apps in the Utilities folder, but none of them will launch (a double click either does nothing or produces a warning saying that Adobe Applications Manager is damaged.)  Where do I go from here???

Kirk0522 I would recommend running the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool available at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 to attempt to remove the conflicting files.  If you continue to face difficulties then I would recommend beginning the migration process again and only migrate over the documents and settings.  If you need a fresh copy of the installation files they are available at Download CS5 products.
