Adobe X came pre-loaded on the machine. How can I transfer the license to a new drive?

I received an error message today that my HDD is failing. A Dell tech is coming on Friday to replace the HDD under warranty. I have the license number for the Adobe X via Adobe ID. How can I transfer the software and license to the new HDD?

as long as you have your serial number, just download the installation files and install (using your serial number).

    Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

You can download the installation files using the link below and the serial number you have.

    Acrobat XI, X - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

If that fails to work out for you then if the machine was sold with the software pre-installed you should be able to obtain the installatyion from Dell.

Follow-up: Tech replaced the drive today and after reloading Windows, we were able to reload Adobe X following your instructions. Thank you very much!
