Adobe XD installer freezes at 57.4%

I've been trying to install adobe xd for more than 5 hours but it always freezes at 57.4%, and only installs crappy Creative cloud and all its resource-consuming processes

You could also try using the 2020 direct download links as an alternative.

 

Adobe XD is now (finally) available as a standalone installer via this means.

install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.
