AdobeAAMDetect security concern

I recently downloaded a trial version of Lightroom CC and when the trial expired I decided I wanted to purchase a subscription. However, when checking Safari>Preferences>Security>Internet Plug-ins, I noticed that a plug-in by the name of "AdobeAAMDetect Version 3.0.0.0" was installed on my system and that Safari was flagging this as a security issue with the following warning:

"AdobeAAMDetect does not support the highest level of security for Safari plug-ins. Websites using this plug-in may be able to access your personal documents and data".

Am I compromising my security and privacy by installing the Creative Cloud desktop app on my system? Am I giving Adobe and any website using this plug-in access to ALL of my files, and if so, is there anything I can do to mitigate this vulnerability?

Hi camroc%2B,

It seems to be an Apple issue, can you please check if Safari for Mac: If a website has Safari plug-in content  is helpful.
