After Effects Configuration Error: 16

Hai ppl. I have After Effects cs6 and suddenly, I got an error saying to unistall and re-install after effects..Now I tried this but I also then got an installation error..I don't think I remember the error code. It said to restart my computer. Yeah, That did NOTHING!! I don't know what to do! I am soo angry right now ;/ any help? Plz! I LOVED AFTER EFFECTS!! Ohh and P.S I have Windows 8 so this might be a little harder to figure out.

    The Problem still persists and the solution is outdated.
    there is no Adobe PCD folder and no SLStore folder in my OSX 10.11.6 System

    totally annoying!

    I get Error 16 quite often in the last month.

    Only a restart helps.

    HerrRotkohl I still see the AdobePCD and SLStore folders located in Library/Application Support/Adobe under macOS 10.12.2.  Please make sure you are not browsing to the User Library.

    I can't find System, only administrators for the first one and do you know where the SLstore folder is for windows 8? Sorry I'm asking all these questions

    Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, try to reinstall again.

    I tried that but even after I restarted my computer and tried uninstalling and installing them again, still the same. Unistalling error said to use cleaner tool but I already did. Installing error gave me error 6. I don't know what's wrong all of a sudden.
