After Effects install not complete

I started to install After Effects from CC, it asked me to quit Photoshop which I did. Then nothing happened. When I go to After Effects on CC intead of it saying 'install' it says 'waiting' with a 'x'. tried clicking the 'x' yet nothing happens... any ideas most welcome!

Hi Marishka,

Have you tried the standard solutions for an app that stalls on installation? Here is a help document detailing them. You might also try other general troubleshooting like signing out and back into Creative Cloud and/or turning your computer off and on.

 

Let us know if any of those suggestions help or if you are still experiencing issues.
