After effects set up wont install

I just recently purchased after effects but the setup won't install. I click on the icon and a little blue wheel pops up beside my pointer but then goes away. && it doesn't even show up on my task manager when I double-click on it.

 

I checked and my laptop has everything the program needs. . .

We're here to help you. Are you on Mac or Windows? What version of the operating system are you on? 

Were you able to install other apps?

install the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.

    When you have a subscription
    -sign in to your account with your ID and password
