After I install CS5 from the web, can I delete the 5.4 GB folder that's left on my desktop?

The folder is called "Adobe CS5.5 Web Premium" and includes the subfolders "deploy" "packages" "payload" and "resources," as well as the Set-up application.

you can, but you might want to save those installation files somewhere in case they are no longer available via the internet and you want to reinstall cs5.
