After installing lightroom 5, it is not accepting my serial number. How can i get it to accept?

I select ireland as my region and on the next page i enter in my serial number and it will not let me proceed and I am given a red X.

Windows 7

Enable Hiddens files and folders view .

Open C:drive and locate folder named " Program Data" .

Navigate to C: .> Program Data > Adobe > Lightroom.

Open Lightroom folder and delete all the contents present inside it .

Then launch Lightroom application and enter 24 digit numerical code serial number and check.
