So I been having trouble opening photoshop and and any of the adobe creative suite product lately. Last night, I updated my Mac and so now today - Photoshop will not open. When I attempt to put my serial number in it's rejected. I am a very unhappy adobe user right now because I have deadlines I need to meet and no photoshop!

Moving this discussion to the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum.

Frangiordano what update did you apply to your Macintosh?  You can verify your serial number is valid by verifying it under your account at http://www.adobe.com/.  You can find additional details at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.

Apparently, Adobe is in the business of screwing over customers now.

Creative Collaboration: (Students and Alumni Hurt By) Adobe and Academy of Art University | Gabby Taylor | LinkedIn

You are getting this issue because you got your copy of Adobe software when you were at an Arts school, maybe Academy of Art University in San Francisco?

Well if you were, surprise surprise, your software was not limitless and without expiration date, in fact, just recently Adobe and AAU signed a new contract together that would force all previous owners of this software based on previous contracts and policies, null and void! YEAH, take that artists!

Now you probably weren't aware because it was never told to you via any paperwork or policies or contracts, but NOW that software that you had, well it was only "for the duration of your enrollment" to the school! So if you want to use Adobe prodcuts again, you must fork over more money to jump into the "Creative Cloud", also known as, "Customer Coercion" or CC for short.

Enjoy, the new face of Adobe.
