All products are still in trial version after making payment

Recently, I have purchased the student plan from Adobe and after the purchase, I found that most of the applications are still in trial mode and can't be activated. I have tried all the methods suggested in this link:Stop Adobe Creative Cloud from opening in trial mode after purchase but they just did not work.

Therefore, I tried to contact the staff online. I shared my screen with him and he edited some files' names and said the problem was my installation path since my primary drive did not have enough space so I changed the location to D drive. He told me not to change the default location of the apps or else I could not activate the products.

Is he right? Am I not allowed to change the location of the apps? If he is not, then what should I do to get rid of trial mode?

Thank you all for your responses. The issue has been solved. Seems like there is something wrong with my laptop that it cannot connect to the activation server. I used another computer and signed in creative cloud and activated the products successfully.

Please share the screen shot and make sure that you are signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop application.

Which applications are not in trial mode?

If space is the problem, I would expect the installation to fail!

As you can change the default instal location with the CC app, you can install the CC programs anywhere on your system. You should not select an external drive. And it should be, for performance reasons, a SSD drive.

The CC app itself needs to be installed at the default install location as of my knowledge. But that is a small program compared to the rest. If you are in need of space, you should also relocate the cloud space to a different disk.

And as I suppose that you have a Windows computer, you may also relocate other folders like the Documents, Image etc folders.

manuels97609586 : the student plan is a standard all apps plan at a discount. The discount will be granted because the student proves that he is a student. So it is a purely commercial and not technical operation. For all the rest, subscriptions are the same. however, there are plans that are distributed via the students school and those are differently validated.

Hi,

I am not sure how the student plan applications look like.

Do you have the Creative Cloud Desktop App installed?

I don't think the install location prevents the application from activating (except you moved them there AFTER the installation).

If it would be true the installation should not allow you to change the hard drive. But even the CC Desktop App allows that.
