I bought my computer about 1 year ago from a friend and have used it for pretty much everything. recently i came across versions of after effects and media encoder that had been cracked and installed by him. I dont want to use these versions because its illegal and i want to use the newer versions legitimately ive tried to uninstall from control panel and have even used the CC cleaner tool, cc uninstall exe and reinstalled the adobe application manager. Every time i close the CC i am forced to reinstall the trial versions again otherwise they wont work and i get multiple errors one of them being Adobe Application Manager is missing or damaged. I really want to get into graphic design etc so if im able to fix this asap i would really appreciate it.

uninstall all pre cc versions using the uninstallers

clean per Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

if you can’t follow the next steps, you may need to reformat your hard drive.

>cracked and installed by him

Depending on what was inside those cracked programs, you MAY need to wipe your hard drive and start over with a fresh install of Windows to remove any possible malware
