Another post for Linux Support

I understand the obstacle to Adobe taking on a project like this.  Currently, the penetration of Desktop Linux users doesn't warrant the cost of developing a port and upkeep for Linux.

But...

When Microsoft admits defeat with Bing and Edge there is a good chance they turn Windows 10/ Xbox into an Advertising platform out of their jealousy of Google and Facebook.  That and/ or a steep fee for using ad-free Windows Pro.  There are going to be a lot of Not-Mac-Windows users looking for a new OS to do their work.  That's going to be Linux. 

Adobe, I hope you're ready when that happens.
