Anti Virus on new XPS PC flags Adobe Audition trial download as malicious

Attemping to download trial version of Adobe Audition. My Reason AntiVirus is stops the download and flags it as "malicious."  Don't see solutions to this issue online.  Thanks.

One thing to check is where EXACTLY you downloaded the trial of Audition. How did you get it?

install the cc desktop app from here https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs. 

 

if that is what's being flagged, suspend your av until installation is complete.
