APE 2018 reinstallation problem
I own a copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 2018. It is registered with Adobe. I have been using APE for several years on a Dell laptop. I have recently reinstalled Windows on the laptop and now wish to reinstall APE on the machine. Windows is completely up-to-date.
I signed on to my Adobe account using the Firefox browser, which is the latest version, and followed the directions to download APE 2018.
I ran the download exe file, which extracted files to a folder on my c drive. After the extract was complete, the “Launch Adobe Premiere Elements 2018” checkbox was selected, and I clicked the Finish button.
The Installer ran and then prompted me to select Install or Try. I selected Install and then got a message saying “Sign In Required”.
I clicked the Sign In button and it tells me to Update my browser. The browser (Firefox) is already the latest version…???
I tried the same procedure with Microsoft Edge as the default browser and verified that it is up-to-date. Same problem.
