Hi, I have an update problem. First the system told me that I need to download the newest Version of the Application Manager. So I downloaded ApplicationManager9.0_all.exe. It unpacks properly, but when the setup starts, it always tells me that another Adobe Installation is already running. I have re-booted, killed all the processes in the task manager, there is definitely no other instal running.

What do I have to do? Edit the registry?

Thank you for helping out.

Open Services Windows.

Make sure Windows Installer and Windows Module Installer services are started  and importantly their Start up type in set to Manual .

It must be set to Manual ..

Launch Task Manager again and make sure to end all Adobe related processes like Creative Cloud , Acrotray , Armsvc  and also other processes like Windows Installer , setup..etc.

Then try again .
