Correct answer Abhijit_Kr_

Hi allisio,

Please do these steps in your profile

Try these steps to fix the issue.

1. Rename the OOBE Folder in these Locations

Go to Folder

/Library/Application Support/Adobe

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Reinstall AAM from this Location

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774

Also give permission on these Folder on both location after you reinstall AAM.

It should work.

Regards

Hi Abhijit KR,

Thanks for the input!

One final question. Is it now better to delete the old OOBE folders (which I renamed DOBE)? Or just leave them in the libraries?

Thanks agasin, Marcel Prins

Mprings654 if you create a new administrator account does the Adobe Application Manager work successfully?  If so you may want to look at your login items under your original account.

Jeff,

Thank for your answer. A new administrator acount works seamless. It is very strange. I've removed login items from my account. But both creative cloud connection and AAM keep crashing abruptly on trying to login...

It could be that your permissions have become compromised in the original account.  I am not aware of anything user account specific which would affect the Adobe Application Manager to crash.

If the login items fail to sort out your issue then the best bet would be to migrate your documents and settings to the new user account.
