"Application Manager Failed to Install"

I get two errors when trying to download CC for PS:

" We've encountered the following issue: Application Manager Failed to Install

and

"Download Error. Adobe Application Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled. Please Conact Customer Service"

And I find nothing to help me online, and although Chat says 24/7, it says unavailable.

Please help.

Thanks, Bill

Correct answer KRupani

You should try this

1. Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE.oldthe locations are

For windows

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE and C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE.

For Mac :--

Macintosh HD>Library>Applciation support>Adobe>OOBE .

Note: The library will be hidden in Mac OS X version 10.7 and later you can access the hidden library ie the root library by In the Finder, choose Go > Go To Folder.

In the Go To Folder dialog, type ~/Library and click Go to access the hidden library.

2. Go to www.creative.adobe.com and login with your Adobe Id.

3. Under the tab 'Download Center' you will see an application named "Creative Cloud .

4. Download Creative Cloud applicaiton. This Creative cloud app is an upgrade to the Adobe application manager.

Dear Kapil, Yes Thank You, I eventually found this fix in one of the forums and it works.
