Apps aren't opening or responding

Question

I recently bought an iMac for home. I'll post a photo of the version. But I downloaded Creative Cloud & the apps I use from it but none of the apps once downloaded will open. The icons will bounce up & down for a bit & when they stop & I check them & they say "Application not responding". I've uninstalled & reinstalled but they keep doing the same thing. Not sure what I should do to fix it.

I had tried opening After Effects & when it didn't work I tried Illustrator & Photoshop & neither of them worked either. But I went into my settings & gave some permissions to Creative Cloud & they finally opened so I think I fixed it.

Followinig this. Has to be sometthing with the IOS because mine were working fine and then I updated to Catalina 10.15.7 and now none of my CC apps open unless you open a saved file. But as soon as you try to open a new document there is nothing but a black screen and you can't do anything.
