Are there Adobe ports to open on my router to allow access?
Hello everyone,
I've been searching throughtout the whole internet looking for help on this topic and haven't turned out much luck. This all started when I wanted to subscribe and sign up for the Creative Cloud. Having signed up at school, I was eager to come home and install and start playing with all the different programs. However, when I got home none of the Adobe.com sites would work. I tried adobe.com, creative.adobe.com and even the technical/contact us page would not load. The forums are responsive but doesn't always load as I travel between pages. Throughtout all browsers (Firefox, Chrome and IE) it would return the error message "taking too long to respond." I found this very puzzling because it seemed like the rest of the web was working. I tried to ping adobe.com through command prompt and it returned request has timed out for about 4 times.
I contacted my ISP and they said that they do not limit or block websites and I shouldn't be having an issue. To confirm it wasn't them I reset my modem and directly connected it to my computer. VOILA everything worked, was fast and I was able to dl at least Photoshop for school work. So now I have determined it is my router (set everything back up and once again couldn't connect) ... has anyone come across this? I really rather not reset my router ... would it make a difference? Any fixes?
Thank you for all the help!
