Attempting install of creative cloud to Mac mini M1...it finishes fast but leaves no app

My older Mini running Catalina would not let me install Creative Cloud. I purchased a brand new M1 Mini to hopefully use my subscription. The Creative Cloud app install startsand then rapidly finishes after a short time. NO ERROR messages are seen. No executable is left behind. Anyone have some advice (other than returning the M1 which I like just fine otherwise.

Will
