Audition 2.0 stopped working after replacing my hard drive. How do I fix or get new Serial Number?

I was using Audition 2.0. After my PC's Hard Drive broke and was replaced, and all data re-installed, Audition would not start: I got a message which said that "The software has already been installed on another computer and would not work." I followed on-screen instructions to generate a new serial number, but the website was no longer supported so I was unable to get a new serial number. Adobe consultant told me to uninstall and reinstall, which I tried, but Audition could not be reinstalled. I got a message saying that my serial number was not a real SB.

Can anyone help me?
