Question

Auto-renewal and cancellation fee

A year ago I signed up to the student adobe creative cloud to help me get on with my Masters.

I am now unemployed, and as of 3 days ago the subscription has renewed without warning and has gone up without my consent!!

I can barely afford groceries, I can't afford to pay £137 in the cancellation fee and £24 a month!

I read that we should be allowed to cancel a subscription within 14 days, but the cancellation fee is still coming up!

Please help me!!

The student rate is approximately 60% off the first year and 40% off thereafter until you cancel your plan.  Adobe doesn't need your permission to auto renew or change the rate as that is in your Terms of Service Agreement.  If you didn't intend to keep your subscription, you needed to cancel it in the 12th month.   See link below.

To contact Adobe Customer Care, click the chat bot icon in lower right and type AGENT followed by Enter key.  If you are persuasive enough, maybe the nice agent will waive your early cancellation fees.   Good luck with your job search.
