Best economical configuration for Adobe 6.0 - PC build or buy

I recently purchased the educational version of Adobe CS6 Design & Web suite. Mainly I will be using this while having Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and the internet running on dual monitors. At my job, we have a Dell Inspirion 620 with one 23" monitor, a 2.9GHz Intel Core i5 2310 processor, Memory 6GB 1,333MHz DDR3 SDRAM, Graphics 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6450 graphics card, Hard drives 1TB 7,200rpm, Operating system Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). They just bought the computer for $479.00. I have no yet run their Adobe CS5 on it as they have not installed it yet - but just using Photoshop CS5 I can see how fast it is.

While researching and talking to tech people, they tell me I could build a nice system with a quad processor, and 6 or 8 g of RAM etc. for about $800.00 I really cannot dish that out right now and was hoping to get something economical for home that I can use for the freelance jobs I get. Would the Dell system work for my needs or should I think about going a little bit beefier?? Any advice on what the best set-up for me would be without going overboard would be much appreciated.     Those people probably never used Adobe apps. You don't need a quad processor to do web design. Except for PS, none of the apps will ever use such a processor fully and even PS only does with certain operations. That Dell machine will be just fine for average tasks.
