Best way to give subscription as a gift?

Question

I want to gift the photography plan (Photoshop + Lightroom) package to my friend in another country.

I already have the photography plan for myself.
Neither of us lives in USA.
I would like to give e.g. 12 months membership to his email address in a "prepaid" way. I don't want to put my credit card details into an account in his name.
I would prefer not to rely on third parties to buy it (amazon, adorama etc)

What's the official/best way to achieve this?

I would not recommend this. Adobe purchases made in one country are often not valid in another country. Even without a gift, people find it impossible to change country properly.
