Beware Of This Scam

After posting on this forum for help with Photoshop CS 3, I received 3 private messages from someone with the username John Dennis. 

 

The message said:

"

Hi,

You can Directly send Email to our Adobe Customer Care Team Email Address:-
AdobeHelpLine24x7@outlook.com and they will help you via Email.

 

Note:-Compose New Email and Write the Email Address without any Space mentioned above and send Email.

Team Adobe"

 

Curious to see what this was which I figured it was a scam, after sending an email got this reply:

 

"We would like to inform you that Photoshop CS 3 is too old and no longer available and supported with Windows 11 64 Bit and Secondly Photoshop CS 3 servers have been shut down. So, we can do is we provide you the Photoshop CS 6 Perpetual License. So, you can able to start your work in a proper way.

 

We will help you to Download, Install and Activate the Photoshop CS 6 on your computer
 
Photoshop CS 6 will cost you after all the discounts US$349.99 including lifetime warranty
 
So, shall we proceed with?
 
First, we have to generate the Invoice for Photoshop CS 6
 
So, kindly provide your Full Name, Email ID, Phone Number, Address and Area Postal 
 
 
So there you have it.
