Blank Creative Cloud screen

I just got a membership for Creative Cloud, but after downloading it I only see a blank screen when it boots. I'm using a PC with Windows 7 on it. I've tried all the following proposed solutions I found on the forums and every different combination of them:

-Deleting/renaming OOBE folder in Program Files (x86) / Common Files / Adobe

-Deleting/renaming OOBE folder in Users / (me) / AppData / Local / Adobe

-Deleting/renaming opm.db file in Users / (me) / AppData / Local / Adobe / OOBE

-Uninstalling and reinstalling

-Ending all Adobe processes that are running in Task Manager

But nothing has worked. I've removed the only punctuation in my name on the Adobe profile, and I don't have a company name. I'm trying to avoid the hack of removing the "&" from my Windows user profile name, because it sounds like that can cause all kinds of other problems that I don't need.

I've spent 2 days on this now and really just want this seemingly simple problem to be fixed! Nothing is working - PLEASE HELP!!!

Aestjohn are you facing difficulties installing the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application?  If so then please see Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html for steps which should allow you to resolve your installation difficulties.

No, I don't get any error. When I install it, the process completes fine but then the Creative Cloud window is just blank. Lately when I try to reinstall it, it somehow partially shuts down Windows towards the end of the process. I hear the chime that normally plays when I shut down the computer, then my desktop icons and menu bar disappear, but it doesn't actually finish shutting down, and I'm just left with my wallpaper and any programs I have open (like the installer). The installation still seems to finish, then the CC app launches itself and is blank. And it remains blank even after restarting the computer.

Ok Aeshjohn if the Creative Cloud Desktop window is blank then please implement solution 2 in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html.
