bought iMac...can NOT load LR2 from disc. Tried downloading LR5 from my Adobe account...after 3 da

Help loading LR5.  Am in Johannesburg SA.  Need to load LR5....tried loading from my Adobe account...after 3 days only minimal progress on download.  Cancelled.  Tried loading my LR2 disc to see if it would help the process.  Disc will not load.  Receive Installation Error notice.  Not on dial up....on wireless with iburst.co.za

    you should use a wired (not wireless) conneciton if you're having trouble with interrupted downloads of large files.  (and adobe programs are large files.)

    but if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/lightroom-5-ddl-comparison-vs-lr4.html

    and activate with your serial number.

    if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies. 

    the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com). 

    failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com
