[Branched] Reinstalling PSE 14 - serial number will not validate

I have reinstalled Photoshop Elements 14 following computer repair. Reinstall went alright but after the sign-in and the two-factor authent and the acceptance of the software license agreement, the serial number validation stops the process. I select validate and nothing happens.
