Brand new MacBook Pro, Adobe CC is killing the battery
I just got a new 2016 13" MacBook Pro and am coming over from Windows 10 so I'm not very familiar with macOS. I installed the Adobe CC app and Lightroom earlier today, and noticed that my Mac has been running warm ever since then. I unplugged it a little while ago and have been working on battery for a couple hours, and it's killing the battery. In Activity Monitor the energy impact for the Adobe CC app is bouncing between 25 - 30. I don't know what's considered normal for a macOS app, but that's WAY higher than anything else that's running. Note I don't have Lightroom open, this is simply the Adobe app that should be running idle in the menu bar.
Can anyone explain what's going on with the Adobe app and if there's anyway to fix it, besides quitting the app?
