Brush tool not showing up

Earlier today my brush tool was working fine! Now, it wont even show up! Any help?

Did you do any updates in between? Or did it auto update in between? What program were you using? I'm guessing Photoshop, but I may be wrong. Please tell us what application and version of that application you are using as well as what operating system and version you are running on.
