"buy now" after purchasing apps

I have an active 1-year student subscription but can't access any applications. On my desktop manager it says "buy now" and when I try and open it it goes into an endless loop off APApp opening and saying "verifying" and spinning and quitting and opening and spinning and quitting and the app never opens and I can't ever verify anything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop manager, uninstalled every app, restarted and updated my computer, done everything every forum says about checking adobe connection.

I screen shared my computer with an adobe rep and he solved the problem. He told me that while updating the apps a few files weren't extracted properly and that was what caused the issue. The fix took about 10 minutes but I don't think I would have been able to figure it out myself.

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers.

for help with that and other common secure adobe.com connection problems read, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

if you see both logos:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud. (if you have a win os, right click the exe > click 'run as administrator'.

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
