buying application permanently without renewing online account

Hi guys. I am new to Adobe and thinking of starting to work with Adobe CC. My question is can I permanently buy any of the application (such as Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC,etc); run them offline and without renewing my online account/membership every month or do I need to pay every month and keep my online account to use my desired application? I do not need the other online facilities associated with the account such as cloud storage.
