C6 and CC Conflict with deployment

Hi guys,

I currently have multiple users that have CS6 Installed on their macs.  When I try to install CC on the computers, it fails. If the computer does not have CS6 already installed, CC installs with no issue.  The reverse is the same, if a computer already has CC installed, CS6 installation fails. 

CS6 and CC  use two separate adobe ID's.  Could this be causing the issue?  Does anyone know the quickest way to consolidate two accounts?

Any help would be so wonderful.

Obiwantrenobi I would recommend reviewing your installation logs to determine the cause of the installation failure.  Please see Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html for information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

It is likely you will discover a file permission error within your log files which is preventing a file or folder/directory from being updated after a previous Adobe installation has been made.
