Can anyone help re: installing Photoshop Elements 11?

I have windows 7, and can't install this program. It won't even pull up when inserted. Any ideas?

    Have you tried manually browsing the DVD and running the setup.exe?

    I can't manually browse the DVD because when I put it in the drive, it doesn't even come up. Do you have any other suggestions for me? Thank you For answering my question. Tracy

    You don't see anything when you go to Start>Computer?  How do you normally access the contents of your DVDs?  Do you see a DVD symbol on the front of an optical drive?  If nothing at all happens maybe you simply have a CD-ROM drive only.
